Description
Scratch Acid's self-titled debut release from Rabid Cat, their original record label, in VG++ condition in unsealed shrink-wrap with the lyrics insert. Sleeve, insert, and vinyl still in VG+ condtion. Vinyl has several light, large scuffs. None are deep enough to be felt. Shrink wrap has "5.99" written on it in marker. Back of insert has a few light spots on it.
Vinyl visually graded. I do not have a turntable. I am not an expert but have used the Goldmine standards and tried to grade hard and give full, accurate descriptions and include pictures. If you have questions, please ask.
Album has rarely been played because my husband bought it because he was a student of the cover/lyrics insert designer (Mark Todd). He was/is not a fan of noise rock. Scratch Acid was an Austin band and this was bought in San Marcos. 30 miles south of there. The matrix is marked A-1-1-1 on the "A Side" and B-1-1-1 on the "This Side." I don't know if that means it's an early pressing or not.
Scratch Acid's self-titled debut was originally only released only on vinyl. Kurt Cobain consistently put it in his "favorite albums" lists in his Journals. Although it sold poorly when it was first released and is still virtually unknown in the mainstream, it is regarded as a very influential record in the Noise Rock genre.
