Description

A set of six thick scrapbooks. Each book has a sticker on the front supplied by Rave Magazine in each monthly edition for six editions.

These books are full of cuttings/pictures/posters put together from 1965 to 1967 with some more up to date photographs in album no. 6. All cuttings, pictures etc were taken from the music magazines of the era i.e. Rave, Fabulous 208, Music Echo, NME, Jackie etc. Also included are concert tickets from Hammersmith Odeon (also featuring Cat Stevens, Jimi Hendrix etc) and ABC Dover (one of the support acts being The Mindbenders) â€“ a trip organised by the Fan Club.

There are letters from the Fan Club informing fans of the Christmas Party (dated 24.11.1966). A beautifully embossed invitation card to the party at the Cavalier Club in Golders Green with the Fan Club stamp on the back. Letters also regarding new releases such as Another Tear Falls, Twinkie Lee, letter dated 15.11.1965 offering tickets to Ready Steady Go and a letter telling me my membership had expired and requesting a six shilling postal order! Also autographed photographs from the fan club again with the fan club official stamp on the back and a full list of tour dates in 1966 containing 33 dates in total with 2 performances per date Phew!

I have put a reserve price on these books to reflect the fact that they are much loved and I wish them to go to a serious collector and I also wish them to stay together as a set. Thank you.
