A wonderful Mayorga/Doug Sax effort here in the audio capture.

Piano, after all, is not an easy instrument to realize in playback…at least not like this. The boardwork so very evident, processed through a single stereo mic and tube electronics…the result simply an ease in listening, the acoustic right, not emboldened…relaxed, if you will, as natural in weight and perspective as a piano in your listening room.

A fine, fine recording, this an original direct-to-disc platter, factory sealed.
