Description
Scatology by Coil, on Force and Form Records (K.422), released in 1984. This is the first UK pressing (A1/B1 matrix numbers, and other messages on the dead wax; side one: ‘The hills are alive.’ and side two: ‘I am perplexed.’). The vinyl is in Excellent condition – it hasn’t been played more than a handful of times. The cover is in Excellent – condition: while there are no creases of any note, the cover has become slightly discoloured with age (see pics). The black and white inner sleeve/lyric sheet is in Excellent condition. I am also included a contemporaneous review of the album from the NME that I must have cut out and stashed in the sleeve at the time I bought it.
Allmusic describes it as, 'one of the essential landmarks in the group's discography and, moreover, one of the '80s industrial scene's more vital and influential recordings'.
This is from my own collection. I've got roughly 200 albums for sale, which I will be putting on ebay over the coming months, aiming to have around 10 albums for sale at any one time. I'm putting them on at the lowest auction price as I really want the albums to move on to a good home (and so create space for me to buy one or two more!).
1st Class postage within the UK is £3.50 to cover postage and packaging. Records will be packaged in cardboard album mailers, with additional A4 cardboard liners included to add stiffness. If the record sells for more than £15.00, I will send it 'signed for', which will add an additional £1.10 to the postage price. Obviously, if you buy more than one record, the postage costs per item will diminish, up to a weight of two kilograms. Please contact me and I will provide an updated postage charge.
