Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Sarah Mclachlan - Fumbling towards ecstacy & The Freedom sessions - RARE Double Vinyl LP album from 1997.
Vinyl Condition: EX
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inners).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Gatefold sleeve has some damage to the top left corner where is looks like something may have had a chew on it at some point and there are little indentations in that corner. The corner is also looking worn and scuffed. There are also quite a lot of little dotty indentations towards the opening of the sleeve too. Apart from this the sleeve is absolutely fine and would have been graded as excellent is it was not for the imperfections mentioned above).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
