While I love Carlos' tone on the band's first records, it's the percussion that is the star of the show here, and the sonics on this Mofi edition nail it! Fire up "Soul Sacrifice" and crank it UP for Mike Shrieve's legendary solo. And by the way, how GREAT is Greg Rolie? His vocals and keyboards are absolutely essential to this record and the sound of the band.
