These are the original radio station

1981 copies.  

They were stored in a box in only  paper sleeves, and suffered some nasty surface scratches that affect play in some spots much more than others.  I’ll give you the way I hear it, and won’t sugercoat it!

Side one - VG(-) Not too bad and plays through with minimal pops at mostly a couple of spots last half of side.  No hangs nor skips on my plays, just loud pops for a few revs.

Side two - VG  Plays fine with only the normal vinyl background. This side escaped the scratches.

Side three - G(-) Noisy scratches present that don’t overpower but are very noticeable, even causing a short skip/pop at last third of side. Doesn’t repeat and plays through.  

Side four -  G(-)    “Open Invitation” has a pop/skip at first rev of first chorus, then has audible pops from scratches at very end.  “She’s Not There” (which is one of my favorite versions of one of my all time favorite songs) unfortunately has scratches at the very start, then cleans up, then is scratched toward end. Plays through and doesn’t kill this killer version at all...just more than I’d like.

“Transcendance” finale is softer and the scratches are more present and  bothersome here, causing a couple of pop/skips. One hang at very end without extra tracking weight.

Important (and wordy) Comments on Records:

       I am a vinyl hoarder more than a seller, but due to space limitations, Ms. zeboxer and I (mostly Ms. zeboxer) are going to be finding new homes for a few records (she says a few thousand). These records were obtained over the years as I collected from friends who no longer listened, or from estates.  In most estates, the purchase is all or none, so to get the records I wanted, I had to get hundreds. 

       Whenever possible, I will tell you how records sound to me using Dual/Grado/Definitive Technology system.  Every vinyl listener is different, and while I appreciate the best, I am also tolerant and even enjoy a little of the vinyl pops and such.  I rate/describe the record as I hear it, and will not intentionally mislead anyone.  

         I use the Goldmine as a guide, with my play grading description giving you the details.  My VG+/Nm borderline is an excellent TimeWarp worthy record.  My VG+ is a great sounding record.  My VG has sporadic background, but it is never overpowering.  My G+ will play without skips, but noise will be more than sporadic, and too much for a VG.  I will explain exceptions.  If it plays better or worse than it looks visually, I will tell you.

        I give you the details of the cover, and let the photos show the condition.  

 I anticipate the mails will try to break everything I send, so I always pack accordingly.  Records are packed to maintain the integrity of the disc and cover, in record mailers (often two of ‘em) for individual or small lots.

Payment is expected within four (4) days.

USPS First Class Mail International is slow and risky.
