Sandy Denny war eine britischen Sängerin und Songschreiberin, die leider im frühen Alter von 31 Jahren nach einem Treppensturz an Hirnblutungen verstarb. Ihre erhabene Stimme und die Folkballaden gehören unter Folkrock - Liebhabern zum Kult der Szene.
Das 4-Record Set spiegelt Ihr musikalisches Lebenswerk wieder. Es enthält Aufnahmen mit den Strawbs, Fotheringay und Fairport Convention. Außerdem sind auf den 4 LP's unveröfftliche Demos, Live-Aufnahmen, Outtakes und ein Querschnitt Ihrer Solo- Karriere aus den Jahren 1967 -1977 zu hören. Als Beilage zu dieser Anthologie gibs noch ein schönes Booklet. Jeder Sammler von Folkrockscheiben sollte diese Rarität besitzen !
