Description
This is a 1989-1991 third? pressing of Initium by Samhain. I’m putting this rare and valuable record up for auction with a starting bid of .99¢ with no reserve and free shipping.
Overall the record and sleeve are in fantastic shape. There is a bit of confusion over exactly which pressing this is, please read;
Matrix / Runout (A-side etchings, TR and EDP are circled): PL-904-A 6-23-89 TR Pa 6.84 M3 EDP
Matrix / Runout (B-side etchings, TR and EDP are circled): PL-904-B-I TR Pa 8.84 M3 EDP
According to Discogs, the matrix runouts and back cover of my record exactly match the 1989 3rd pressing, pressed on black translucent vinyl, but the labels say Evilive, not Hell Bent. However, the 1991 pressing says Evilive on the labels according to Discogs but the matrix runouts on the record I have do not contain the S-25533 and S-25534 numbers, and the back cover of my record does not have the barcode sticker or any indications that the sticker was removed. So I am not certain which pressing this is exactly, but its seemingly sometime between 1989 and 1991.

Black translucent vinyl.
Everything about this record matches the 1989 third pressing exactly except that this vinyl has the Evilive logo on the center labels instead of Hell Bent.
The vinyl record itself is in near mint condition and looks fantastic. No scratches or scuffs. The paper generic inner sleeve is included but I have placed the record in an archival quality anti-static MoFi plastic inner sleeve. See photos.
I have play tested this record and listened carefully with headphones on. There is no skipping or scratches, and every track plays wonderfully.
The cover looks great with some ring wear and minimal creasing. The bottom left corner has a bit of rubbing. Top right corner and back bottom left corner have taken a bump. They are still squared off but you can see a bit of a ding there. Some small 1/2” crease marks on the back cover near the spine.
This record will be shipped out within 24 hours of receiving payment. It will be packaged carefully with bubble wrap and cardboard spacers for cushioning in a brand new Whiplash record mailer marked fragile on all sides. The record will be placed behind the sleeve to prevent seem splits or any damage during transit.
