Sam Rivers - Fuchsia Swing Song

(Blue Note BST 84184 LP 1965)


This is a 1984 French Stereo LP pressing. It has a heavyweight matt sleeve. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record has machine stamped matrix numbers. A great way to acquire this great mid 1960's Blue Note Jazz LP at a reasonable price.



Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge and corner tips. There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top edge. The previous owner has written "Rec. 1965" in very small biro on the rear sleeve. VG condition

Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. The paper inner sleeve has left some light or very mild marks on the vinyl on a few areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. VG++ condition. The labels are in Very Near Mint condition & show next to no spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is some light ingwear. There are no seam splits.

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
