Description

Hello! This is an auction for a copy of the album Palo Congo by Sabu Martinez on Blue Note, catalogue number BLP 1561. This is the rare original 1957 pressing on the NEW YORK 23 deep groove Blue Note labels on both sides and "RVG" and the Plastylite "ear" in the runouts. This record has some moderate, noteworthy scuffing and scratching to it, but plays pretty well, without any skips or sticks. The cover has some noteworthy wear to it, including some significant splitting along the top accompanied with more moderate general shelf wear. This is a very rare release, and the original 1957 pressing is hardly ever seen up for sale anymore. Good luck!
