I use the UK 'Record Collector Price Guide' grading system. (As I have done for 15 years without incident). All my VINYL records are to be considered 'used' & all are graded conservatively.Vinyl Grading & Condition.
(covers/inserts graded first e.g. ex/vg = cover excellent, disc very good)
MINT:(M)The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. I rarely use this grade preferring to undergrade to excellent.
EXCELLENT:(EX)The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD:(VG)The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD:(G)The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR:(F)The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR:(P)The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD:(B)The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
All items are guaranteed to be in the condition described or your money back. I use proper fit for purpose packaging to ensure they reach you in good condition.

If using the cash option please use a small padded envelope. Its quite safe. Use common sense. No problems reported to date (touch wood). Taking an I.M.O. or Foreign Bank Draft is no problem as long as its in Pounds Sterling. Please make sure your bank is instructed to have the draft drawn on an English bank in Pounds Sterling & made payable to myself. Check with me first.

UNITED KINGDOM - LP/12" = £2.50 first item then £0.55 each additional. Everything is shipped first class recorded (giving proof of posting).
EUROPE - LP/12" = £3.60 first item then £1.25 each additional.
U.S.A./CANADA - LP/12" = £6 first item then £1.55 each additional.
