Demonstration Record Released (Undated But 1971) By Electronic Music Studios (London) Limited, 49 Deodar Road, London, SW15.

The Label Reads "DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT TO BE SOLD OR PERFORMED IN PUBLIC".

This Is An Incredibly Rare Record A Very Hard-To-Find And Much Sought After Demo Record With Extracts Of Performances By The Inventors Of The EMS Synthi And Prominent Composers Who Worked With The Equipment At The Time (See Detailed Listing Below). Several Of Them Were Members Of The BBC Radiophonic Workshop And Provided Music And Sound Effects For The Original Dr. Who Series, Extracts Of Which Are Included Here.

The Thin 12" Single Type Cover Has Some Wear From Age, There Is A Scuff About Half An Inch To The Bottom Edge But It's Not Quite Worn Through, There Is Light Shelf Wear To The Other Efges But No Other Split Seams, Or Rips / Tears. There Are Some Light Wrinkles And Ringwear To Front And Back.

The Vinyl Has What I Would Describe As A Light Needle Graze Roughly 2 Inches Across Side 'A' (You Can Just See This In One Of The Pictures Circled) And There Are Some Light Scuffs - Seen When Held Up To The Light To Side 'A' (More Than Likely From Taking In And Out Of The Sleeve), And To A Lesser Extent On Side 'B'.

The Metallic Silver And Black Album Cover Reproduces Photos Of The Outside And Inside Of The Synthi A (Originally Called The "Portabella").
