Description
Conveyance LP - SYNDICATE (Fanfare no #)
Original 1977 U.S. stereo LP. 9 tracks, including: the title song, "Jabo," "Zoilo," "Primavera," "Gimme Your Love," "Waiting Too Long," more. EXCELLENT private Latin/funk/soul album by this obscure combo, reportedly from New Mexico, tho it was recorded in El Cajon, California. Fine & funky, including a killer cover of Curtis Mayfield's "Gimme Your Love." A very hard-to-find LP, I believe; does not appear to have been offered on the internet since last year, at least that I can see. Vinyl/cover both in very nice condition. Back cover has been autographed by the lead vocalist, SUNNY PADILLA (reads: Best Wishes always to A Good Friend from Sunny).
Disc = Looks EX- (lite hairlines) - plays better, sounds fine; some faint pops & very lite background noise at the beginning of both sides; a few lite pops during the very soft intro of track 3 ("Feelings") on side B; otherwise, the sound is EXCELLENT, NO loud clicks, NO distortion, etc
Cover = front - slight ring/general wear, very slight right edge wear, very tiny crunch in upper right corner, small crunch along bottom edge near right corner, lite horizontal indentation line near bottom edge, lite waviness along right edge, possibly due to backing glue / back - slight ring/general wear, a few small thin lite scratches, writing (autographed by the lead singer) / tiny chip & tiny split on bottom edge, slight curling on spine
Labels = slight wear around center hole, w/ NO spindle marks to be found
