Description

This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.


1964 UK stereo pressing on Decca records of SXL 6119, Ernest Ansermet conducting L'Orchestre De La Suisse  playing "Russian Delights" which include


Mussorgsky (arr.Rimsky-Korsakov) Night in the bare mountain

Kovanshchina: Prelude, Persian dance


Glinka Russlan & Ludmilla overture, Waltz fantasy, Jota Aragonesa.


Label is grooved wide band ED1. Sleeve is VG, some creasing, wear to opening and ring wear to the back. Would grade the record visually as Excellent - spindle wear on both sides, under strong light side 1 has a couple of marks and a couple of faint scratches, side 2 similar. It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips, jumps or repeated clicks, just little crackles and occasional pop in places. 


Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
