COLUMBIA SX6316 DON RENDELL/IAN CARR 5 'Live'

Despite being billed as a "Live" session, this was actually recorded in the Lansdowne studio on March 18th 1968. It was one of four LPs recorded by this influential/popular group. The musicians taking part were: DON RENDELL (ts/ss/cl/fl); IAN CARR (tp/fl-h); MICHAEL GARRICK (p); DAVE GREEN (b); and TREVOR TOMKINS (d). This is a first UK mono pressing with black/silver label and flipback cover. The disc was issued in 1969.

SIDE 1: 'On Track'/'Vignette'/'Pavanne'

SIDE 2: 'Nimjam'/'Voices'/'You've Said It'

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: Disc is E+ (VG++) with a few very light scratches visible, under a bright 'grading' light. The cover is also E+ (VG++), with very minor cover damage and surface creasing. There ia also some surface dirt on the front. On the back, someone has drawn a small circle in red ballpoint pen just above the "S" of the catalogue number in the top right hand corner. There is also slight surface dirt on the flipbacks.
