Description
SWERVEDRIVER "Ejector Seat Reservation" on Creation Records, 1995. This is the rare, OOP original pressing of Swervedriver's classic "Ejector Seat Reservation" LP. Due to the oft-cited "label dispute", both CD and LP formats of this album have been woefully unavailable for years in the U.S., and most of the rest of the world to my knowledge. After making some headway in the U.S. with the release of "Mezcal Head," Swervedriver's brilliant follow-up was never even released by it's American label, and the band was dropped in the States. They didn't fare much better with their U.K. label, Creation, who released the album there, but gave it next-to no promotional push and left it to sink like a stone. So, here we have what has turned out to be something of a rare creature --- the original LP pressing of "Ejector Seat Reservation". And yes, it IS a great rock record, featuring some of the band's most propulsive grooves and memorable hooks in songs like "Bring Me The Head Of The Fortune Teller" and "Son Of Jaguar E". Oh, this also includes a bonus 7" of songs not on the CD version: "Flaming Heart" and "Plan 7 Star Satellite 10". Cover is in Excellent condition, with just a little wear on one corner. Both records are Near-Mint, no flaws of any kind that I could detect.
