1979 freebie single 


June 30, 1979 THE SWELL MAPS’ second album “A Trip To Marineville,” is released by Rough Trade Records. It contains seventeen songs, some incredibly short, some epics. As an added bonus, all early copies of the album come with a free four track EP with a special picture sleeve. Most of those freebie singles went missing and not many are still mated with their original album. Need one? This one’s for you.

Tracks here are “Loin Of The Surf” and “Doctor At Cake” paired with “Steven Does” and “Bronze & Baby Shoes.” BTW – this is from the personal collection of Punk Diary 1970-1982 author George Gimarc.
