MATCHBOX CLASSICS - M.C.4 - UK 1981 7" WITH ORIGINAL FOLD-OUT PICTURE SLEEVE, STICKERED WHITE LABELS & HAND-WRITTEN LETTER FROM BAND'S SINGER CHRIS DATED 25/8/82 Rare original 7" ep from 1981 by Carlisle punk band Supermatix and 4th release on collectable 'Matchbox Classics' independent label from Carlisle (see the superb book 45 Revolutions 1976-1979 by Mario Panciera for full details on the label and the split releases by Limps and No Support). Supermatix are the same people as other bands of the label The Wanglers (MC5) and No Support (see split singles with Limps and the excellent '8 from '80 a Carlisle compilation' 7" ep). This comes complete with the fold-out picture sleeve and a handwritten card letter by band member Chris (bass/vocals) explaining that this was supposed to be No Support's first solo E.P. but due to circumstances it was re-recorded and released as 'Supermatix' (also mentions the Wanglers - Kickin' Out For The Coast release, latest on the label). A great punk & new wave collectable in very nice condition. CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) sleeve: ex vinyl: ex letter: ex P&P Registered (with insurance) through ELTA (Hellenic National Post) GBP12.50 in Europe / GBP14.50 for all other countries except USA* / GBP6.50 to Greece * For USA only it will be through Courier Service GBP45.00 - ELTA services from Greece to USA is temporarily stopped due to the new Tariffs and until the terms are cleared so at the time shipping to USA is possible only through Courier service which is very expensive * I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied * I combine shipping, please wait for my combined invoice before payment, thanks.
