For sale is a very difficult to find Beatles record / slv. This is ‘Meet the Beatles’ Jukebox record aka a ‘Compact 33 ’ released in Jan. 1964. This is a7” record like a single, but plays at 33 1/3 speed like LPs. There are 3 songs per side giving jukebox owners more songs taking up the same space as a 45 RPM. Jacket is made of cardboard like an LP and shows a fair amt. of wear to front and some discoloration on back. [The backs of these are all blank] Seams are intact and there’s no writing on it. The record is VERY nice. Full luster and only a few minor scuffs that are barely visible, with a clean label. It has not been play tested. Visually grades VG++ to NM - . This comes with 1 title strip and 2 mini LP covers. [not sure if they’re original because they are not B&W like usually seen]
Only 3 different titles of these rare Beatles compact 33’s were ever produced and none were sold in stores. They were only available to bars & restaurants from jukebox dealers. Starting VERY low with No Reserve. Super Rare if you’re looking for this one to add to your collection!
