Description

This is an extremely rare Tommy Boy Records 20th Anniversary release of De La Soul’s Stakes Is High. Released in 2001 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the label, this extremely limited edition was produced in an unknown small quantity to probably be given as gifts or sold only at 3 live shows in Germany in July 2001. Included are an unused commemorative graffiti stencil in excellent condition that reads “30 Years: It’s Workin’ Tommy Boy 1981-2001. The NM vinyl and sleeve are identical to the original 1996 release with etched matrix numbers TB 1149 DMM with barcode 016998114919. NM sleeve in shrink includes hype sticker that reads “ANNIVERSARY SERIES Limited edition inc. Graffiti Stencil” with several German tour dates listed. Ships domestic US via USPS Priority Mail.
