Description

RARE, very few if any others in existence. Matrix numbers are correct for Carl Perkins " Blue Suede Shoes". Some light scratches, smudges and warping but numbers are very clear and  backwards for imprinting. This is a metal stamper, not an acetate which wears out. This is much rarer. It cannot be played but perfect for framing. This stamper was used to press the 45's in late 1955 & 1956.

This stamper came from the Sun Records Warehouse in the mid 70's. Found by Alan Rush who played on Elvis records and worked with Carl Perkins and other Sun artists in Nashville. A letter of authentication from Alan Rush will accompany the stamper.

If you are a Sun Records / Carl Perkins / Rockabilly collector, hurry. This is one of the best Sun label collections around. You may never get a chance like this again. This is a piece of Rock and Roll history and you can tell your friends it is MINE!

International bidders welcome.

Winner must pay within 72 hours of auction closing  in US dollars and winner pays all shipping and insurance.
