Our retail store (of 21 years) was abruptly forced out of business.  The U.S. economy began it's imminent collapse one week later.  coincidence?  Now we are quite happy to liquidate our remaining store stock online.

RARE ORIGINAL UK (12 LP) BOXSET PRESSING FROM 1987

This boxset is SO cool.  Typical of Charly productions, every care was taken in the assembly of this amazing set. The booklet and 12 different inner sleeves are amazing.   Exhaustive liner notes, tons of rare photos and press clippings, great graphic layout, and superior mastering for vinyl are all on board here.   In fact, the vinyl sounds GREAT.   The mojority of the tracks sound like they were taken directly from the master tapes- really clean and clear.   BOATLOADS of unreleased takes and alternates, all presented with the usual attention to detail and great care that we associate with the great Charly label.

The vinyl is just amazingly clean.   Very Near Mint !!  It seems to be unplayed for the most part.  Record 1 and 7 have the hint of being played, but would still qualify as NM or NM-.  The labels are all minty also.

The album sized book is in excellent shape.  It is a 50 page book, an archive of the awesome 1950's SUN Rock N' Roll scene.  The book only has some light wear, no rips tears or writing.

The 12 inner sleeves are mostly in VG+ shape.  Most (10 of 12) have top split seams (1" to 2.5") and two have side splits (under 1").   Record #1 has the most ring wear/rubbing, and most have some light ring wear. 

The box is in excellent shape.  It still has the top of the box attached to the bottom of the box - with the very thin original strip of paper affixed to each side.   None of the corners are split on this box!   The ribbon used to open the box is intact in it's binding.  There is some light wear & rubbing on the box, but no major problems!

This boxset weighs 6 pounds, unboxed!   It is quite heavy and will be packaged as securely as possible, in and outside the box, to avoid any thrashing about.   Priority Mail Only!!!
