Description
Saturn 523 / SRA 2000 (matrix # SRA 2000 A / B) – light pink labels – original copy from 1971 or soon after.
This LP is very rare in this original non-hybrid edition : plates for the side A seem to have been lost after the initial run, as all further pressings are hybrids with the original side A replaced with side A of the "Outer Spaceways Incorporated" LP, which is also very rare in its non-hybrid form. To add to the confusion, there are also mislabelled copies, with "My Brother The Wind v.II" labels on the "My Brother The Wind v.I" LPs – but these usually turn up without covers.
LP is clean and shiny – side A has some light, superficial marks and also a few tiny scratches on its first two tracks – you can hear a number of mild clicks in a few places on those – the following moog solo tracks play much better – side B has superficial marks only and plays very well – I would grade side A VG+ to EX- and side B about EX – not perfect, but for most part a fine listening copy. The cover has very little wear except its lower right corner, edges mostly sharp and clean, there is some yellowing and staining, and slight wrinkling from humidity, along the spine(see photos) – still very decent – I’d grade it VG to VG+.
I only charge for the actual cost of shipping and can offer several options : to the US, if packaged under 500g, it would be about $10 for regular Air Mail (no tracking) or $18.50 by Expedited (like Priority) Mail with tracking (which I’d recommend) – to Europe, Japan or elsewhere, packaged under 500g, it would be about $17 by regular Air Mail (no tracking) – Express Mail is best, but unfortunately very expensive : about $60.
