Sun Ra - Lanquidity (Philly Jazz `78) Original advance issue with paste-on covers and no labels (information was scratched into the master discs in the dead wax, see photos.) Cover: Mint in shrink Disc: M- These rare advance copies were manufactured to be sold at an Arkestra gig at Georgia Tech, but copies filtered out into other corners of the world - perhaps they were sold at other concerts as well. Only several hundred were made, according to Philly Jazz's Tom Buchler. The slightly later, more common issue has the silver cover with burgundy print. I got this copy many years ago from a serious Ra collector who was instrumental in distributing Saturn releases to record stores in the `70s and `80s.
Musically, this is a personal favorite of mine, with Ra & co. leaning toward electric funk and doing it brilliantly and beautifully.

Hello to all! Once again, I have changed and simplified my shipping policies to make postage CHEAPER for international bidders.
International orders under $200 will be sent first class mail. ($14.50 for 1st LP, $4.00 for each additional LP)
International orders over $200 will be sent REGISTERED mail. There is an ADDITIONAL cost of $11.50 for this, so an LP that sells at $200 or more will have a shipping charge of $26.00 ($14.50 for first class mail and $11.50 for registration.) It is known to be a very secure shipping method, requiring signatures from postal employees at various stops along the way, as well as your signature upon receipt of the package.
I no longer require Express mail for any destination, but it is recommended for more expensive records.
