Up for bid is an extremely rare LP, "We Travel The Space Ways," by Sun Ra and His Astro-Infinity Arkestra. This is an original mono press, released by Saturn (409). Side 1 etched matrix info is as follows: HK-5445-A, with "Infinity Series" and what looks to be a picture of a diamond with "AA" in the center also etched in the dead wax. Side 2 etched matrix info is as follows: HK-5445-B, with "Infinity Series" and what looks to be a picture of a diamond with "AA" in the center also etched in the dead wax. LP is VG+, with scuffs and a couple of tiny scratches on either side. LP plays with some surface noise (crackle & tics) - but no skips. A professional clean should remove some of the surface noise. LP is retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is wear on all corners and seams. There is some scuffing and discoloration on the front and back of the jacket (see pictures). Overall, both the LP and the jacket are in great shape! An original mono press of this LP is difficult to find in any condition! A copy of this LP sold for $710 in 2010! Don't miss your chance to pick up this extremely rare gem!
