I've been digging out a few more rare Studio One 12 inch disco 45s this week. Here's what's on offer this time:

Artist: THE VICEROYS (A)/LARRY MARSHALL (B)

Title: YA HO (A)/LIFE COULD BE A DREAM (B)

Label/Number: (US) STUDIO 1 SO 0021 -released c. 1979

Condition of Labels: Clean as the day the record was pressed!

Condition of vinyl: A genuine Mint Minus! It's only had one owner from new - me! - and it's been played no more than half a dozen times in 25+ years.

Comments: Arrrrr, Jim Lad, there be a nice L-O-N-G cut of the rocksteady cut on the 'a' side (which some smart company should submit as soundtrack music for "Pirates Of The Caribbean II"!) and a lovely early 70s Larry vocal, with Soul Defenders riddim behind the lyrics to "Sh-Boom", on the flip. Dead rare, and dead good!!! Buy it or Coxsone's ghost will make you walk the plank!
