All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
This record is in excellent+ condition. It has just a couple faint light spindle marks visible on each label and no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres show little to no wear and are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are in great shape with little to report and no major issues at all.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean and have very little visible in normal light and of course nothing remotely serious. There is the odd very light thin wispy line/smudge or very minor 'sleeve scuff' just visible when angled but nothing at all major as I say. There are a few more extremely minor wispy lines visible under very bright white light but again nothing remotely sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid shine.
I play tested the record and it plays really well with superb audio throughout. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is really enjoyable on both sides. Its crisp, defined and very clear with no major interference audible and no serious issues. There is a touch of surface noise in the run in and very occasionally a minor amount between some songs but the vast majority is surface noise free and of great quality. There are no skips, sticks or loud disruptive clicks and during the play test I picked up on very little. I did however note a few incredibly faint clicks at near the very end of track 3 on side 2, but these were barely even audible through the audio. They are caused by a small 5mm mark but as I say are almost masked completely by the audio. It then continues through until the end of side 2 with top rate audio throughout. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test and produced audio of high quality with no major issues to report.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has some wear and rubbing to the edges and corners, but the writing along the spine is still all legible. The worst of the edge wear is a 2" section in the centre of the bottom edge. This area is weak but has not developed into a split. There are no splits anywhere on the sleeve but there is unfortunately a 2" tear to the front right(record entry) edge. Please see pictures above to see the extent of this tear. Other than the tear and the edge wear the sleeve has some light creasing, mild ring marks showing and some general mild age related wear. Overall the sleeve is solid enough however and other than the tear is has no major problems to report. I have tried to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It includes its original plain white poly-lined inner in very good- condition. This has no tears or pen marks but some creasing, ring marks and age related discolouring. There is also staining to it and a large split to the right edge. As a result of this I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me. Also please check my Ebay feedback for a positive history of record grading, A1 communication and quick delivery times.
