SHANDAR SR 10.002 (1970, France)
German avant-garde composer Karlheinz Stockhausen (1928-2007) needs no introduction. Certainly, he is one of the most influential composers of modern music. His contribution especially to electronic music is without parallel. The majority of Stockhausen’s LP recordings are on DG & this is his only appearance on the Shandar label.
Record is in NM condition and graphic gatefold jacket is NM-due to some very light rubbing to corners. Seldom offered on eBay & one of the harder to find Shandar’s. Don’t miss it!
I recently acquired a small but superb collection of modern, experimental, improvised, & electronic music. I will be offering 50 or so items from this collection at the end of each month. This kind of material rarely surfaces so keep looking for future auctions.
