Closed Groove "Suspect Device" and "Alternative Ulster" - attacking both sides of the bloody conflict then raging in their home city - are the highlights of one of the greatest albums of the first wave of punk. But the rest of the album is wonderful! Run outs on this copy from 1979 read Rough 1 A2 and B2. Vinyl condition is Ex according to the Record Collector Grading System. There is a little bit of spindle wear and some hairline marks (that do not impact on sound quality). Record plays through very well. Sleeve condition is Ex- according to the Record Collector Grading System. Corners and edges are not worn, but there is minor creasing. The insert sleeve is Ex- Corners and edges show a little wear and there is minor ringwear. Original release, looked after by myself since new, plays well with some surface noise consistent with vinyl of this period. I am a lifelong record collector selling from my personal vinyl collection. I have been buying vinyl since the early 1970s. The records have been well cared for in a smoke-free and pet-free home. My records are all original pressings (1st, 2nd and subsequent) from the 60s/70s/80s. They are not modern re-issues. The sleeves vary in condition but most are excellent - showing just the typical signs of storage. Most were kept in plastic protective covers. I try to provide accurate descriptions. Records are play tested both sides for condition, not just visually graded. Nb hairline marks are a result of occasional withdrawal from sleeves and have little impact on sound quality. Also, very few original vinyl records lie totally flat. As for background noise, all records will have some background noise and this often reflects the variable pressing quality.
