Description

  • Stevie Wonder released his legendary double-album "Songs In The Key Of Life" in September 1976 on Motown's Tamla Records imprint. The album made its debut at No 1 on the charts and was bolstered by two singles "Sir Duke," and "I Wish" which also hit No. 1, plus the beautiful ballad "Isn't She Lovely."

  • This is a rare collectors copy of (T13-34062) from the First Pressing that also includes the original four-song Bonus 7" disc and 24-page Lyrics Booklet. The cover still has its Original Factory Shrink Wrap and easily grades VG+.  Please see the pictures but note the photo of the inner gatefold is from another copy. The discs test played cleanly and are also VG+ which is as high I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Andrew Berliner and Jeff Sanders at Crystal Sound in Los Angeles and was pressed by H.V. Waddell Co. in Burbank. The Side One dead wax is etched T·13340 C2 2645 SEBF 98 XTAL AB B-WA.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeves to hold the vinyl discs and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 45 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
