- SLEEVE DESIGN: Gatefold sleeve. A beautiful colour cover illustration of Steve as a travelling minstrel with wench and dog by his side. Black & White photographs feature within the gatefold inner.
- LABEL DESIGN: Yellow label with Black lettering. Wizard at 12 o'clock.
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pressed in extremely small numbers on a private label, long-deleted and highly-prized by collectors of Acid Folk, "SHORT STORIES" is a record packed with extraordinary tracks sensitively played to perfection by Gibbons and his merry band of players. All of the eleven tracks were written by Gibbons. Steve Gibbons' helpers included: DORIS TROY ~ MADELINE BELL ~ ALBERT LEE ~ GARY WRIGHT ~ TREVOR BURTON ~ JIMMY MILLER ~ MIKE KELLIE ~ GINGER JOHNSON ~ GERRY DONAHUE. A fantastic long-player and a magnificent work of art. CONTAINS LYRIC INSERT.
