I have for auction from my own collection this super copy of this brilliant 60's psych album.This second offering from Steppenwolf features the brilliant track "Magic Carpet Ride".It has been in my collection for many years and i can remember paying a lot for it from a birmingham record store.The laminated sleeve is the early issue with silver lettering and fold over flaps on rear of sleeve.Appart from a few very minor creases this sleeve is in beautifull condition especially when you consider it is 43 years old.The rear of the sleeve with its white background is amazingly clean with just two small creases in one of the flaps.I will grade sleeve as exc++, very hard to find one like this. The vinyl is in stunning condition, totally unmarked and still looking brand new.I have examined it under strong light and can find no blemishes at all.The labels are also as crisp and clean as when new with just a couple of very faint spindle marks.Prior to listing this album i gave it a play and the audio is truly remarkable for a pressing this old,even the quiet intro to band 3 side 2 was free from intrusive surface noise.I would doubt a better pressing of this album could be found.As for grading it i have no reservations in giving it mint-,it is that good.My Linn Naim hi fi system cost me £18,000 and if it plays well on this it has to be good.I offer a full refund if not happy,see my feedback and bid with confidence.Low starting bid so:-
