Item for Bid:  STEPPENWOLF THE SECOND NM LP w/Shrink. From original owner collection 1975 or earlier.  Please see below for details of this incredible collection!

Condition: COVER NM.  Shrinkwrap is still attached with piece missing lower right.  Tiny punchhole upper right.  Please see below for details of this incredible collection!

LP NM-.  Absolutely beautiful.  Original inner sleeve with seam tear.  Only one very light topical mark on Side 1.  Very faint. Dunhill DS-50037.  Please see below for details of this incredible collection!

Notes:  WOW!  We have just obtained an incredible estate collection of near mint,pristine LPs that were all purchased prior to 1975.  The original owner stored these records in 1975 and his family has had them in controlled storage ever since.  Nearly all of this collection is unique in that the one and only original owner carefully opened each one to remove the lp, record it to reel-to-reel tape, then placed them in storage never to be played again.  That is the only time the record was ever played and saw the light of day.  There are a very limited number of records that were played more than once before he got his recorder but those will described in detail and are all in excellent condition as well. No scratches, marks, or soil on vast majority.  The quality of lp condition and the high grade condition, vividness of color, and crispness of the covers make these records stand out from most every pre-1975 lp we have seen!  The shrinkwrap is still intact on the majority, most original inserts present, gatefolds never cracked (since the outer shrinkwrap would prevent that) and the lps look glossy, wet, and like new. Absolutely incredible!  Some original inner sleeves have been replaced by the owner and we will note when non-plain originals are present. The one (good) quirk he did have was to place a long strip of tape all the way around on the opened edge of the shrinkwrap to ensure it didn't split or tear.  He was very careful doing this and the tape is not applied to album cover in any way - just the shrink.  Once you get a taste of the high quality condition of these old lps - you will be hooked!  Please be sure to check our other auctions this weekend as many of these ultimate condition records will be up for grabs and you will be hard pressed to ever have a better copy - DO NOT MISS THESE!!
