On offer here is a very VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Steppenwolf called 'Steppenwolf' and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS SIMPLY A HUGE RARITY!!!!  LATER PRESSINGS OF THIS LP OCCASSIONALLY TURN UP, AND EVEN LATER RE-ISSUES ON STATESIDE ARE VERY COMMON - BUT IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A 100% GENIUNE RCA 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!!  THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE RCA 1968 1ST UK MONO PRESSING WITH A 1ST PRESS BLACK/RED SPOT RCA LABEL, AND A 1ST PRESS 'WHITE' SLEEVE (LATER SLEEVES WERE SILVER)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THIS LP IN MONO - AS THE UK RE-ISSUE WAS ONLY IN STEREO!!!!  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE EXTREME RARITY OF THIS LP AS A 1ST PRESSING!!!!  AS I SAID BEFORE - RE-ISSUES OF THIS LP ON STATESIDE ARE EASILY FOUND - BUT THIS 1968 1ST MONO PRESSING ON RCA IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE LP!!!! This is an ORIGINAL RCA UK 1st MONO pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is RD 7974 on the ORIGINAL MONO RCA Black 'Red Spot' 1st Press label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Steppenwolf at their best!!!! Any fan of Steppenwolf, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 1 NON sounding scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! There is also a VERY few curious looking VERY small lighter dots on the vinyl too - but this is NOT mould and 100% part of the vinyl - and NONE of these sound in ANY WAY!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO nasty constant crackle!!!! THIS RECORD PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion - just CRYSTAL CLEAR MONO sound!!!! The record must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better and plays better still!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'White' MONO 'Clout & Baker' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, only some light minimal rubbing towards the bottom (VERY light), NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The only other thing to mention is that the cover is a bit uneven - perhaps due to storage over the years?  The cover must grade Very Good(maybe+) - with only the uneveness stopping a higher grade!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE MONO 1ST PRESSING WHICH SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVE RARITY!!!!
