ICONIC LATE 60's CLASSIC DEBUT FROM STEPPENWOLF A SNAPSHOT OF THE "EASY RIDER" GENERATION; INDEED TWO OF THE TRACKS FROM THIS INCLUDED ON THE SOUNDTRACK TO THE "EASY RIDER" MOVIE.  OF COURSE INCLUDING "BORN TO BE WILD" THE REBEL ANTHEM AND PROTO HEAVY METAL BLUEPRINT!
VINYL - THE RECORDS IS A FAIRLY CONSERVATIVE "VERY GOOD" THE SURFACE IS CLEAN AND RETAINS GLOSS, IT IS FREE OF SOILING, DAMP SPOTS, NASTY SCRATCHES, NICKS, HORIZONTAL GROOVE DAMAGE, GROOVE WEAR - AND THE GENERAL SIGNS OF EXCESSIVE OR CARELESS USE AND HANDLING.  UNDER LIGHT THERE ARE SOME FREQUENT (NOT EXCESSIVE) WISPY HAIRLINE MARKS FROM INSERTION AND CONTACT AGAINST THE INNER SLEEVE ALONG WITH SOME SLIGHTLY MORE DEFINED HAIRLINE MARKS PERHAPS WHERE THE RECORD MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PUT AWAY IMMEDIATELY AND LEFT ALONG SIDE OTHERS OR THAT SORT OF THING - JUST LIGHT COSMETIC SIGNS OF GENERAL USE.  LABELS SHOW SOME FAINT REPEAT SPINDLE MARKS BUT NO HEAVY WEAR AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE AND SUCH.  THE RECORD SITS FLAT AND PLAYS THROUGH WELL WITH A STRONG BRIGHT SOUND, FREQUENCIES ARE FULL AND WITHOUT CLIPPING OR DISTORTION AROUND THE MIDDLE AND HIGHER FREQUENCIES.  SOMEWHAT MINIMAL SURFACE PRESENCE IN THE BACKGROUND, JUST A LITTLE IN THE OPENING GROOVES OR DEAD WAX OR PERHAPS COMING THROUGH IN A SOFT PASSAGE OF MUSIC, MAYBE AN OCCASIONAL RUN OF SHORT CLICKS OR A LOUDER FLEETING POP.  IN CONCLUSION JUST LIGHT SIGNS OF USE AND IT'S AGE BUT OVERALL A FANTASTIC COPY THAT IS VERY ENJOYABLE AND MAKING FOR A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS ICONIC ALBUM IN IT'S ORIGINAL FORMAT!
SLEEVE - "VERY GOOD+" GENERALLY IN GOOD ORDER THROUGHOUT WITH JUST SOME LIGHT GENERAL SHELF WEAR, WITHOUT MAJOR DEFECTS - TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES TO GET A FEEL FOR IT.
GRADING / SERVICE
I use the standard 'Record Collector' grading system conservatively.
When grading and listing vinyl I inspect them under strong light and play test them in part.
I have a couple of cleaning machines to remove surface dust or fingerprints and such where needed.

When are you dispatching my item?  - The handling time displayed for your item is five working days it is unlikely it will take me this long to send your items however the store can become very busy so it gives me time to work through the orders carefully without a bottleneck situation.  Please be patient and feel assured all is in hand and your order will be dispatched as promised.
Where is my item?  What is my tracking number? - Please check your eBay expected delivery date this is time frame I am working to - if your item is overdue please open an 'I didn't receive it' request and I can look into this.  The standard Royal Mail service advertised is not tracked end to end however there are QR codes I can look up to see if delivery has been attempted if there is a delay.
Can I collect from you? - Sorry I am not currently offering local collection.
