STEAMHAMMER
1970 UK Reflection REF-L1 (A-1 & B-1)
Here is a excellent very rare 1970 uk Reflection label pressing of 'Steamhammer's' superb debut prog-psych-blues-rock album. This LP was originally released in the uk in 1969 on the orange CBS label, the 1969 CBS issue and this 1970 Reflection label pressing are just as rare as each other.
This superb Reflection issue is in excellent condition, both sides of the thick heavyweight vinyl are very clean with a nice sheen, there are no bad surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all so there are no areas with repeated clicks or pops or annoying loud background crackle, both sides only have some very light top surface sleeve withdrawal traces and just a few other very light signs of careful use, all tracks play and sound a brilliant EX++ throughout with barely any background noise to be heard at all. The matt black Reflection labels are in very good condition, there are just a few spindle traces per side. The single front laminated matt backed cover was made and printed in the uk by 'West Brothers Printers Limited, London'. The front lamination is in superb clean conditon with a excellent high gloss finish, the matt back only has some very light signs of storage but is otherwise in great condition, the edges and spine have no noticeable wear and all spine text in bold and clear and easy to read, the covers opening edge is still nice and sharp. This album comes in it's original white paper die-cut inner sleeve which grades very good. This is just a superb rare copy that plays and sounds fantastic throughout and so will not disappoint in any way. This is just a top copy that will definitely not disappoint.
