From back sleeve: ‘The 21st December, 1969 marked the complete dieselization of the Queensland Railways, which until then, had been served faithfully by steam power, even in its declining years. This recording is a tribute to the varied and spectacular steam locomotives of the Queensland Government system, and to the men who worked them.’
