Jazz arranger Jack Zimmerman conducts 30 short pieces for radio disc jockeys to use as incidental or background music for various purposes. All sorts of moods and atmospheres spun here. Very rare in its usual form, this is an even rarer promo copy, which was actually used at a Los Angeles area station, by a DJ named Don Lamond. There is a little writing on the cover, but the amazing photo of a 1950s radio station is perfectly intact and beautiful. The cover has a seam split across the whole top seam, and about half of the bottom, but still looks amazing. It was used a lot at the radio station, I am told. Anyhow the disc itself is well cared-for, with only a few light marks that generally don't affect the play. It plays beautifully. A lovely and rare relic from old radio days..
