NEAR MINT (NM OR M-) A good description of a NM record is “it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time.” In other words, it’s nearly perfect. (may have dust) clean your records when they arrive, although I clean them before shipping.

NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks” from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Major factory defects also must be absent; a record and label obviously pressed off center is not Near Mint. If played, it will do so with no surface noise. (NM records don’t have to be “never played”; a record used on an excellent turntable can remain NM after many plays if the disc is properly cared for.
NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind. These are high standards, and they are not on a sliding scale. A record or sleeve from the 1950s must meet the same standards as one from the 1990s or 2000s to be Near Mint!  It’s estimated that no more than 2 to 4 percent of all records remaining from the 1950s and 1960s are truly Near Mint.
 Excellent (E) A good description of a EX record is except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.

Very Good Plus (VG+)  Slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience, slight warps that do not affect the sound. Minor signs of handling are ok, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.


Very good Plus Cover(VG+)  might have some very minor seam wear or a split, less than a inch, at the bottom. Also may have some defacing, or a cut out marking
Very Good(VG) More obvious conditions such as scuffs and light scratches are more visible, lacking some of the original gloss. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played some surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and ending. The noise will not over power the music.
Very Good Cover(VG) will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, but not overwhelming. Some creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious: And may appear on all three sides, though it won't be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or put a price tag.

RETURN POLICY
If your item is not as described when you first receive it, or if the packaging looks as though it was tampered with, please take photos right away and contact me. At this time we will work on a solution, weather a full refund, or partial refund is in order. If a insurance claim has to be made, I need the proof of the damage. I will not be able to determine this without photos as well as some proof of a faulty item, if that is the case. I am asking for common courtesy in helping me ensure your satisfaction at the same time maintaining a peaceful business transaction for the both of us.
PROCEDURE
1. You must prove the damage within 24 hours of receiving the item and within 3 days in cases of clear cases of negligence on my part in accurately describing the item. The only time the time limit will not apply is when prove of natural Catastrophe has prevented a timely complaint. 2: At this time, I will need the clear photos, explanation of the problem to the best of your ability and what you would like to be done about your complaint, in writing to me, not to eBay.. 3: If I agree with the complaint due to my error, then return the item to me, shipping the way I shipped to you and in the same condition. Also email the day you ship with tracking number. Do this within 14 days of the day the item was received at your expense. Any alterations or evidence that it is not the same item, will void the refund & more than likely eBay would be involved. If the item is as described, I will refund the full amount paid by you via Pay Pal. You will receive a M O for your shipping cost in the mail, because my shipping costs are added into your cost. 4: If I agree due to an Insurance claim, realize this could take some time depending on the shipping service and this service will pick up the item before issuing a refund. As soon as the refund is issued from the insurance claim to me, you will then be refunded via Pay Pal. 5: Most errors on my part are due to multiple listings using the same template and sometimes, something isn't changed from the template before. I do not always notice this. This is obviously an accident. If you notice a obvious error like this where the photos and description do not match or something like this, please let me know before bidding or ask a question. If you do not do this, buy the item then ask for a refund, I would question why this was not addressed before purchasing the item. I will not refund to you for this type of obvious error, as you the buyer also have a responsibility to read an entire add and ask questions before purchasing. If I made a error in not describing accurately that is my error and I will admit it. I always have and I always will. 6: If you decide to start a eBay claim or leave negative feedback without first making a complaint thru email, then you will have to prove your case to them, still using my valid personal refund policy.
