Description
Continuing JAZZ auction seriesof original Classic Jazz, Bop, Cool Jazz plus select jazz vocal and pop vocal LPs and 10" albums -followed by some choice avant garde and outside jazz plus original issue Brazilian / Bossa Nova / Samba and Latin Jazz/Percussion artists as well as a few very rare Experimental/Electronic LPs.
Labels included here are Blue Note, Prestige, Roost, Clef, Nocturne, Discovery, Contemporary, Pacific Jazz, Verve, Atlantic, Folkways, Arhoolie, Odeon, Finnadar, ECM, WATT, BASF, Impulse, CTI, Capitol, RCA Victor and a few others. Most of these records are in VG+ to VG++ condition, with a few NM and a few VG ...many quite scarce.
All with Low opening bids -and No Reserve.

~Super-clean with mere whisper of wear. No creases, writing soil or other marks; snapping bright back. Split seams, neatly and tightly closed with clear, acid-free *Document Repair Tape -permanent, strong and ARCHIVAL Nearly invisible. Spine is excellent. Sharp corners all around.
*about the DOCUMENT REPAIR TAPE: This specially formulated tape will never peel, flake, yellow or out-gas upon the cover. It is a professional repair that will preserve the edges of the cover through your lifetime and beyond. Applied in an even, single strip, across entire seam, very clean and neat -leaving an "as manufactured" appearance.
VINYL: VG(+)
~Several scratches on still quite glossy, thick vinyl; mostly insignificant, but a few feelable scratches that sound. LP plays clear and bright with sporadic low-level tics. No sticks or skips. Deep groove, yellow "Trumpeter" NORGRAN labels are near-pristine, with one very short spindle mark only seen at angle to light.
This was the first record issued on Norman Granz' NORGRAN label - and the first full 12" album by Stan Getz.
