Very few recordings in the history of modern music can rightfully lay claim to the title "classic". And then, those that can claim to have initiated a whole new movement or direction in music are even rarer. We proudly present here one such speciment: a veritable Jazz Classic.

This classic Jazz album comes from an unbelievable collection we have just acquired; virtually all albums in this collection were (and still are) still sealed ORIGINAL or very early pressings, almost all Verve, Riverside and Impulse labels. The great majority of these albums – virtually all - were of the very early 60’s vintage (1960-1964).

(b)            The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(c)             The record is apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)            The record is apparently pressed on a RELATIVELY thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type), vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl either.

(e)             Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS STRONG NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP

-         Cover has JUST A HINT of ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 1.

-         No saw-marks or indents
