STAINED GLASS - CRAZY HORSE ROADS LP (CAPITOL ST 154) (1968) (PROMO) (VG++/EX-)

·      BAND: US Psych-Rock band from San Jose, CA circa 1964/70, they were originally called The Trolls and are considerably under-rated regarding songwriting and musicianship. This was their first LP and features a controversial disturbing album cover.

·      TOTAL OUTPUT: Seven singles and two LP’s (66/69).

·      PRESSING: First US Pressing, 1969. (NOTE: This is a rare promo version with the word "FREE" pressure punched in the upper right hand corner
of the sleeve.)

·      LABEL: Capitol (Rainbow on black with silver lettering) (CAPITOL ST 154)  

·      MATRIX RUNOUT NUMBERS (Etched):  A: (ST-1-154-H-3 *) B: (ST-2-154-H-3 *)

·      CONDITION: FRONT COVER: EX- (No ring-wear. Top and bottom seams have extremely minor wear and no splits. Spine has no wear with no impact to the lettering.  

·      CONDITION: BACK COVER: EX- (Same as front cover.)

·      CONDITION: DUST JACKET SLEEVE: Generic.

·      CONDITION: VINYL: Plays with minimal surface noise on quiet passages and has overall audio grade of VG++. (NOTE: There is a visible scuff on the last song on side 1 that does not have any audible impact on play.)

Hi folks, this is Velvetfogg, founder of the U-SPACES music collective which ran from 1997 to 2020 on Yahoogroups.  I try to list records on Sundays, some Auction and some Buy It Now.

 

GRADING SCALE:

NM/M: Played once or twice. No visible surface or playback wear.

EX: Has been played but has no scratches, minimal to no wear and plays without surface noise.

EX- Plays without surface noise, but might have a few visible minor scratches.

VG++: May have a few surface scratches or a little wear, but plays nicely with only minimal surface noise and clicks.

VG+: "Typical used record".  A little wear, a few minor (light) scratches, but plays well. Surface noise may be more present during soft passages. No Skips

VG: More wear and significant surface noise. Deeper scratches. May have a skip.

G: Significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. (Beat up record!) May have skips.

(All LP’s are visually-graded with sound samples being provided for the first song on each side.)

·      USA: ALL DOMESTIC US - $7.50 for one LP ("Priority Mail Cubic" via 3rd party shipping company with tracking & insurance:  1-3 day) (Media Mail is unreliable)

·      Canada/Mexico: $20.00 USPS First Class International

·      Rest of World: $25.00 USPS First Class International

LP’s ship via USPS Priority Mail Cubic (domestic) or USPS First Class International. Professional cardboard 45 mailers will be used with proper bubble packing.

Priority Shipping is available for higher priced international items upon request and includes insurance but is expensive. (For international orders, please research these costs in your country prior to bidding.
