Description
This is CBS Laboratories SQ Quadraphonic Test Recod, SQT-1100. It is used to check the phono playback equipment, the loudspeaker channel allocations, the acoustical gain and balance of loudspeakers in the quadraphonic listening set up.
These records were manufactured by CBS in the 1970's. They were the samples that were approved at CBS Laboratories for production. They have been in storage in my closet here for over 30 years. All are new records, but are not sealed, so they may have been played once or twice.
I only have one original jacket, as shown in the picture. So for these SQT-1100 records, I have copied the cover and glued it on blank jackets (It looks pretty good.). A copy of the instruction booklet is included.
