Description

Rare Spring album by Spring on RCA Neon 1971 1st pressing, vinyl and sleeve are both in excellent condition. I have played this and the sound is very clear with no undue crackles or surface noise. There is a minor tear on the sleeve back and very slight scuffing to front corners but overall excellent for 43 years old. For those of you that don't know Pick Withers the drummer with Dire Straits plays percussion on this album and it was produced by Gus Dudgeon

Some further information: Neon was a sub-label of RCA records  which only released 11 albums and 4 singles during its short life making anything released on this label extremely rare and collectable. All albums bar one were issued in 1971, this one is NE 6 and arguably one of the most sought after.

The band featured future drummer with Dire Straits Pick Withers, Pat Moran,Ray Martinez, Adrian Maloney and Kipps Brown. Recorded at Trident and Rockfield studios. Album design by Keef known for  famous covers such as Black Sabbath and Rod Stewart [Gasoline Alley and Old Raincoat] amongst others.
