SPRING - Spring RCA Neon NE6
SLEEVE: In overall very good - ex condition. As can be seen in the photos the spine has a 3,5 inches (9 cm) split on top and some rubbing at the bottom. The same goes for the "opposite" spine (age related). Apart from that the sleeve is clean - no rips, tears or writing. Very clean and solid! Opening is straight and strong. VG+
RECORD: This is a beauty! Looks untouched and unplayed. Wonderful sheen. Still has that bright and shiny just-bought look. Quite incredible for a 50 year old record to look this pristine! The only sign that this record has ever been played is a tiny scuff on track 3 side 2 (more on that later). I can see no hairlines under strong light. Absolutely stunning visually, so Near Mint (NM).
LABELS: No spindle wear or signs of use. Near Mint
SOUND/AUDIO: Plays beautifully. A tiny bit of surface noise between tracks probably due to the vinyl rather than use (as it looks unplayed). Plays without background noise, pops or clicks. The exception being the track "Song for absent friends" (track 3 side 2) which is a very quiet and delicate piece of music. Here can be heard some pops and clicks throughout probably because of the tiny scuff mentioned above, but still no background noise. Otherwise a great listening experience - crystal clear, dynamic and organic sound that only vinyl provide. No faults - no background noise, no skips, clicks or pops (except for track 3 side 2). EX++.
That's it! So if you can go on living without having the UK pressing in your collection, here's your chance to own a very decent copy of the German original of this ultra rare prog rock classic. A masterpiece. Sounds as good today as when it was released 50 years ago. Timeless music!
