Description
In the early 1970s, 45's were mostly bubblegum pop with just a handful of brilliant singles. The industry and bands concentrated on the more luxurious album format. Many were self indulgant, now dated piffle however there were some real gems which came and went very quickly like this one on the highly collectable NEON label. Produced by Gus Dudgeon, before his Elton John days. Warmly recorded and mixed with some subtle compression on some instruments. A very pleasant album probably not on cd. Genuine mint copies are very rare and so this excellent sleeve/excellent vinyl copy is very desirable. See my 275+ superb feedback comments with many respected rock collectors buying from me, very happy with my standards and packing. Unlike other dealers, I physically play all ebay items twice for an acurate grade. The item itself:Disc has some spindle wear and very slight surface marks, plays excellent. 3 way foldout gatefold type sleeve. Lyrics printed inside+ photos. No major cover damage, no rips , writing etc, just a little wear to edges as expected for 33 years old.My many Japanese ebay friends usually like these type of albums so expect keen bidding on the last day! Good luck! One final point: Comedians advertise battered copies of this as mint. I am not stating mint, but still very splendid, Excellent infact! WHICH WOULD PASS AS NEAR MINT by most dealers standards! BID WITH CONFIDENCE and check out that feedback! Great item!
