Description

This is a relatively rare 1st press stereo copy of “Its All About” by Spooky Tooth, released in 1968 on the Island label (ILPS 9080). It has a laminated sleeve and pink Island labels with the black and orange “circle” logo.

 

I would grade the outer laminated sleeve as “Good Plus”. There is light edge wear to the top and bottom edges and to the spine which is slightly flattened but mostly legible. The mouth has some small bump marks and all 4 corners show wear. There is some ring wear to front and back. There is some spotting to front and back covers. There are a number of marked laminate creases to front and back.

 

I would visually grade the disc as “Very Good“. It has a very good shine and a number of visible hairline marks. Play through grades a solid “Very Good” with only occasional unexpected noise, the occasional pop and no skips or jumps.

 

I would grade the labels as “Very Good Plus”. There is some very light spindle wear, light rub marking and some barely visible spotting (see photos).

 

The anti-static paper inner sleeve is a new replacement.

 

Matrix: Side 1 – “ILP-ST-SC-A”, etched “LL-DCT-1”

 

            Side 2 – “ILP-ST-B”, etched “LL-DCT-1”

 

Classifications are in accordance with Record Collector Magazine’s Record Collector Grading System and are possibly slightly pessimistic compared to some other sellers/collectors.
