The second in the Spaceman Reissue Series follows the reissue of Lazer Guided Melodies with Pure Phase. It was a sleek fusion of dream pop, shooegaze and space rock with plenty of experimental ideas that have always defined Spiritualized. The classic 1995 recordings get the fullest spectrum audio and physical treatment they've always deserved and gave the album a whole new dimension. It comes on heavyweight wax, too, with a nice gatefold sleeve to make it a real collector's piece, especially given that the whole record glows in the dark.
