Scarce vintage garage LP featuring THE SPIFFYS on a private label pressed by Recordings Incorporated out of Baltimore, from 1968.
Title is “THE SPIFFYS 68.”
The Spiffys consisted of five midshipmen from the Naval Academy at Annapolis, who entertained and recorded for the benefit of their classmates. This album, highly sought-after by garage collectors, was not sold in stores and is therefore quite rare.
Group members are as follows: Rich Petrino '68 – leader, vocal, sax, percussion; John Milner '68 – vocals, drums; Larry Purdy '68 – vocals, guitar; Mike Imeson '69 – bass guitar; and Mike May '70 – vocals, organ.
Catalog number is RI 2597, stereo pressing. Pressed on medium thick vinyl, label is aqua blue with black text.

Jacket: Jacket is nice VG with some minor shelf wear and signs of handling. There is some wear along both seams, and a small piece of tape across the top right.
Vinyl: Condition of vinyl is stunning VG with a nice brilliant original gloss. There are some minor surface scratches that do not affect play. Labels are clean and pristine.
